“We ended up having Orchard project manage a whole refurbishment of our house, and not just design and fit a kitchen…

Orchard Kitchens was suggested by a couple of people as a decent company to talk to for a new kitchen. After the first visit, we didn’t need to look elsewhere – my wife and I just had a sense that we were dealing with people who knew what they were doing and cared about what they were going to deliver

We then started the design process and what is immediately apparent is that Gideon and the team ‘get it’, and ‘get you’. They don’t have a set style that they look to push upon you. They listen, make suggestions, and help narrow down the options to the style that you like.

We had a couple of visits getting the design right and building up the design from the space through to the smaller details. It was this focus on the planning that lead us to expand the project…

In addition to the kitchen, we also needed to address some fundamental issues with the house we had recently moved in to. After asking for some contacts, Gideon offered to do the whole job and we felt really relieved and pleased Gid was willing to take it on. The same attention to detail on the planning stage of the kitchen was applied throughout – positioning of lights, the type and temperature of lights, radiators (including size and type), paint colours, floors, positioning of sockets, handles, door hinges, under-stair cupboards…

We stripped everything in the house back to bare walls and lifted floorboards in order to change the heating system and alter the electrics, and build it all back up from there

The job was fairly lengthy but came in on budget and on time, and the end result is a house we can call a home, and with the peace of mind that we won’t need to do any more work for many years to come. The team are all true professionals – respectful of you, your home, and all the team work to ensure you’re totally satisfied. Jess, Chris, Jamie and his team are all first class. It has to stem from the fact that the focus on quality comes from the top and is a culture throughout the whole team.
