ABOUT THIS PROJECT
For this project, we swapped out an aged and weary kitchen for this beautiful, bright number. With loads of natural light coming in, the colourways and apparatus give the whole space a sharp, clean feel.
‘Whitewater’ quartz worktops frame the room and welcome you to it. Summon you, even. The storage spaces beneath are fronted by super matt clay doors; the upper cupboards are super matt quartz. Both shades are subtle but stylish and offer the added benefit of being easy to clean — these fingerprint resistant doors are new to the Orchard offering, and we’re sure they’ll prove popular!
Elsewhere we built in the Quooker tap to offer boiling water on-demand, and full height splashbacks on the cooker side to avoid any hotpot horrorshows. There’s also a hidden extractor fan that maintains the clean line and modern design.
Hold on — a finale! Tucked neatly round the corner is a bespoke bar and pantry with built-in LED lighting. Perfect for a post-dinner tipple or for hiding any fancy nibbles away from the kids.

My wife and I went to several different kitchen designers in the area and found that Gideon at Orchard Kitchens was the most professional and the most creative. We had similar designs from other providers, but Gideon was the most creative and challenged our thinking. While the other design studios largely replayed back what we said we wanted, Gideon came up with something different and challenged our pre-conceptions.
The final product looks great and is better than what we had originally thought it could be. The installation was on-time, courteous, clean and professional. Further, they were able to work with our own builder seamlessly and in a timely manner.
Like many items, one of our appliances ended up on back-order. They were very conscientious about keeping us informed as to when the item would arrive and ultimately were able to install it the day after they took receipt of it.
We are very pleased and would very much recommend Orchard Kitchens to anyone in the area looking for a new kitchen.
