Dream Renovation

We were brought in to consult on potential designs for what was a traditional, attractive but somewhat disjointed area. Our team got straight to work on revolutionising the kitchen/diner into a stylish, modern marvel. In true ‘inspiration to installation’ style, we handled everything.

Background

The process

When drawing up initial ideas and developing designs in collaboration with the client, we recognised great potential for an open space. With some interior restructuring and the removal of dividing walls, our vision for this large, welcoming room started to take shape.

Decisions

Every fixture and decorating decision from that point forward was carefully aligned with the Eckersleys’ dream, from the fitted sliding pocket doors you enter from the hall through to the new bifolds by the garden. The result: a room that commands the back of the property, and a kitchen that’s as sleek and bright as it is subtle.

Design

Beneath your feet is the stunning Greige Oak, Karndean flooring . On the lowers and kitchen base we fitted dusk grey cupboard and drawer spaces (with 737 handles). The tall and wall units are a lighter limestone, with touch openers to maximise ease of access; bedded above grey splashback mirrors to broaden the expanse.

Cream Kitchens

Appliances

The worktop throughout, including on the grand peninsula, is Polar White Quartz. Over the peninsula hang beautiful pendant lights that fill the room with warmth. The tap is Quooker Fusion in a distinctive square chrome finish. All other appliances are Neff.

We do it all

In the spirit of going above and beyond, and in our commitment to broadening the horizons of our clients, we took on the downstairs bathroom, too. The white fixtures and teal paintwork complement each other perfectly. It’s another, somewhat more compact display of our focus on both practicality and aesthetics.

Bespoke Features

Finishing touches included a bespoke ceiling feature to conceal the existing steel work, and colour-changing LEDs in the alcove above it, adding a bit of panache to evening events, Even the radiator is designer.
